Terms
last updated 27 july 2026
These are the terms you and Brew are working under. The short version: Brew is early software offered as it is, your memories stay yours, what Brew says back is generated and can be wrong, and you can leave with everything at any moment.
Who you are agreeing with
Brew is operated by Prathik Jain, an individual based in India. "Brew" below means that person and this service. Using Brew means accepting these terms; if you do not accept them, do not sign in.
Using Brew
- Brew is invite-only while it is early. Access may be granted or withdrawn.
- You must be 18 or over.
- The account is yours and personal to you. Do not share your sign-in.
- Record your own life. Do not put other people's personal data into Brew unlawfully, and do not use it for anything illegal.
- Do not try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, and do not attempt to reach anyone else's data.
Your content stays yours
Everything you write into Brew remains yours, and you keep every right you have in it. You give Brew one permission and no more: the permission it needs to run the service for you - to store your memories, to index and retrieve them, and to send the parts described in the Privacy page to the providers named there. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account.
Brew claims no ownership of your memories, does not sell them, and does not train models on them.
What Brew generates
Brew's answers, observations, tags and lists are produced by a language model. They are interpretations, not facts, and they can be wrong.
The product labels them as generated everywhere they appear, shows the memories each was drawn from, and lets you correct or delete any of them. Treat them accordingly: Brew is not professional advice, and nothing it says should be relied on for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
Brew also never invents a memory. If something is presented as something you recorded, you recorded it.
Availability
There is no uptime promise. Brew may change, break, or stop. Where a shutdown is deliberate you will be given notice and export will stay available through it.
Price
Brew is free while it is early. If it ever charges, you will be told before it applies to you, and it will not be applied retroactively.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time. It is immediate and permanent, and there is no cooling-off period, no retention grace, and nothing to ask for - how to do it.
Brew may suspend or end your access for a breach of these terms or where the law requires it. You will be told, and you will be able to export first unless the law prevents it.
No warranty
Brew is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brew is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost opportunity, or lost or corrupted data. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the greater of what you have paid Brew in the twelve months before the claim - currently nothing - or ₹1,000.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including for fraud.
Because data can be lost, and because Brew is early: export regularly. It is one file and it takes a moment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
When these terms change
The date at the top says when they last changed. Continuing to use Brew after a change means accepting it. If you do not accept a change, export your data and delete your account.
